4-Day Itinerary for Rishikesh in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Beatles Ashram

    In the morning, visit the Beatles Ashram which is now also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram. This ashram was made famous by the Beatles in the 1960s. Spend your afternoon at Triveni Ghat, one of the most sacred places and auspicious confluence of three rivers. In the evening, participate in the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan, where you can witness the devotion and piety of the prayers and offerings given to the river Ganga.

  2. Day 2: Neer Garh Waterfall
    25 minutes (7.8 km) from Rishikesh Bus Stand

    Early morning, travel to Neer Garh Waterfall, known for its stunning views and peaceful surroundings. Spend the afternoon at Rishikesh Adventure Club, where you can go for activities like zip-lining, rappelling, and rock climbing. In the evening, visit the Parmeshwaranand Ashram and witness the Ganga Aarti.

  3. Day 3: Rajaji National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (52.3 km) from Rishikesh Bus Stand

    Embark on a wildlife safari at Rajaji National Park, home to Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, and many other species. Spend the afternoon exploring the ancient temple of Vashistha Cave. In the evening, visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple and take part in the Ganga Aarti.

  4. Day 4: Ganga Beach
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Rishikesh Bus Stand

    Spend your morning at Ganga Beach, also known as Laxman Jhula Beach, where you can take a dip in the holy Ganges River. For lunch, try the local street food at Ram Jhula Market. In the afternoon, visit the Lakshman Jhula, a suspension bridge over the river Ganga and visit the Tera Manzil Temple. In the evening, visit the Beatles Cafe and enjoy the scenic view of the river Ganga while sipping on a cup of tea.
