Capri is a small island with no direct flights landing. One must reach Naples first by flight and then can take a ferry to Capri which takes around 40-50minutes. The ferry service runs from early morning until late night and costs between €17 to €26 per person each way. For traveling within the island, we recommend taking buses or boats for easy access.
For those visiting Capri for longer or shorter than 5 days, consider adding a boat tour around the island's coastline or a visit to the Roman ruins of Villa Jovis. You can also subtract some places that you don't want to visit, but don't forget to get your tickets in advance and check the scheduled time for all the activities before visiting as they are often restricted in time.
The Capri airport (PRJ) is a small local airport on the island, but it only caters for private international flights. If you're coming from outside Italy, then most likely you will have a connecting flight that lands in Naples International Airport (NAP), which is 6km northeast of Naples city center and 40km from Capri. It takes approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Naples airport to the Piazza Municipio port, where you can take a ferry directly to Capri.
