4-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Anjuna Beach
    1 hour 6 minutes (23.2 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day at Anjuna Beach by taking a dip in the Arabian Sea and enjoying the picturesque scenery. The beach is also famous for its Wednesday Flea Market which offers a wide variety of items such as clothes, jewellery, and handicrafts. In the afternoon, savour some local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in the area. In the evening, head to Curlies Beach Shack for some drinks and live music with the sunset view.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 20 minutes (81.5 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Take a trek to the mesmerising Dudhsagar Falls. It is a four-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. The falls are particularly awe-inspiring during the monsoon season. After the trek, head to the nearby Spice Plantation for a delicious lunch and a guided tour of the plantation. In the evening, relax at the resort and enjoy dinner.

  3. Day 3: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour 20 minutes (33.6 km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. The church is a stunning example of Baroque architecture and is one of the oldest churches in India. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Fontainhas neighbourhood to experience the Portuguese influence on Goan architecture. In the evening, enjoy some seafood at Ritz Classic Restaurant.

  4. Day 4: Palolem Beach
    1 hour 30 minutes (43.5 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Relax at Palolem Beach, a beautiful crescent-shaped beach surrounded by palm trees. The beach offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and dolphin watching. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Cabo de Rama Fort for a glimpse into Goa's history. In the evening, enjoy some cocktails at Silent Noise Club.

Consider taking a side trip to Old Goa which has many historical attractions such as the Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Augustine. Also, try some local delicacies such as vindaloo and bebinca. Finally, make sure to catch a Goa sunset at one of the many scenic viewpoints.
