Exploring Pondicherry in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Aurobindo Ashram
    10 minutes (1.3 miles) from Pondicherry Bus Stand

Explore the peaceful grounds and learn about their philosophy of Integral Yoga. In the afternoon, head to the French Quarter and stroll along the charming streets lined with colonial buildings. In the evening, visit the Promenade Beach and enjoy the cool sea breeze with street food from the vendors.

  2. Day 2: Matrimandir
    30 minutes (8.4 miles) from Aurobindo Ashram

    Start your day early and head to Matrimandir, the spiritual center of Auroville. Take a guided tour of the unique building and the beautiful gardens surrounding it. In the afternoon, visit the Bharati Government Park and relax amidst the lush greenery. In the evening, watch the Sound and Light Show at the Gingee Fort to learn about its rich history.
