Two-Day Itinerary for Delhi in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Red Fort
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Chandni Chowk

    Begin your day at Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once the main residence of the Mughal emperors. In the morning, explore the fort's stunning architecture, including the Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas halls. After lunch, visit the museum inside the fort, which displays artifacts from the Mughal era. In the evening, enjoy the popular light and sound show that depicts the history of Delhi and the fort.

  2. Day 2: Qutub Minar
    30 minutes (17 km) from Red Fort

    Head to Qutub Minar, one of the tallest minarets in the world, built in the 12th century. In the morning, explore the complex which includes the ancient iron pillar and the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, and in the afternoon, visit the nearby Tomb of Iltutmish and the Alai Darwaza gate.
