Kedarnath Trip from Bangalore Itinerary - September 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun
    30 minutes (16.3 km) from Jolly Grant Airport

    Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Dehradun. You can spend the morning relaxing and getting acclimated to the altitude. In the afternoon, take a stroll around Robber's Cave and enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the place. In the evening, explore the local food scene and enjoy some delicious street food.

  2. Day 2: Guptkashi
    4 hours (182 km) from Dehradun

    Start your journey early towards Guptkashi and on the way, stop at Tehri Dam and enjoy the scenic views. After reaching Guptkashi, take a dip in the natural hot water springs of Gaurikund and seek blessings at the Kedarnath Temple in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Kedarnath
    Kedarnath is accessible via a 16 km trek from Gaurikund

    Start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath early in the morning. The trek is steep but filled with beautiful views of the surrounding Himalayas. After reaching Kedarnath, visit the famous Kedarnath Temple and explore the surrounding area.

  4. Day 4: Rudraprayag
    5 hours (185 km) from Kedarnath

    Start your journey early towards Rudraprayag. On the way, stop at the famous Triyuginarayan Temple and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region. Upon reaching Rudraprayag, visit the famous confluence of River Alaknanda and River Mandakini, and relax by the river in the evening.

  5. Day 5: Departure from Dehradun
    5.5 hours (160 km) from Rudraprayag

    After breakfast, start your journey towards Dehradun. On the way, stop at Devprayag and seek blessings at the Raghunath Temple. Upon reaching Dehradun, spend some time shopping for souvenirs and depart for your onward journey.
