   Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh complex in Agra situated on the opposite bank of the river Yamuna from the Taj Mahal. It is said to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj Mahal from the garden. The garden provides an excellent view of the Taj Mahal during sunset.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, you can consider visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located 40 km away from Agra. It was built during the second half of the 16th century by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585.
