3-Day Nature Itinerary for Pachmarhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Bee Fall
    10 minutes (3.2 km) from Pachmarhi Bus Stand

    Start your day at Bee Fall, one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Pachmarhi. Spend the morning hiking down to the bottom of the falls and swimming in the refreshing pool. After lunch, head to the Handi Khoh viewpoint to enjoy the panoramic view of Pachmarhi. Finish off the day with a visit to the Jata Shankar cave temple, a sacred site tucked away in a cave amidst natural rock formations.

  2. Day 2: Satpura National Park
    45 minutes (17 km) from Pachmarhi Bus Stand

    Get up early to explore Satpura National Park, home to a diverse range of flora and fauna including tigers, leopards, and sloth bears. Take an early morning jeep or walking safari with a trained naturalist guide to spot some of the park's wildlife. After lunch, visit the Chauragarh Fort, a hilltop fortress with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evening, relax at the tranquil Rajat Prapat waterfall.

  3. Day 3: Pandav Caves
    20 minutes (8 km) from Pachmarhi Bus Stand

    Start your day by exploring the ancient Pandav Caves, carved out of sandstone cliffs and reputed to be the hiding place of the Pandavas during their exile. Afterward, head to Dhoopgarh for a perfect sunset view from the highest peak in the Satpura Range. End the day with a visit to the Bison Lodge Museum, an informative museum with exhibits on the flora, fauna, and history of Pachmarhi.
