2-Day Family Friendly Jaipur Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: City Palace and Hawa Mahal
    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Hotel

    Start your day at the City Palace, the royal residence of the erstwhile King of Jaipur. You can easily spend a few hours exploring the various palaces, galleries, and museums within the complex. In the afternoon, head over to the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of the Winds, which was built for the royal ladies to observe the city without being seen. The intricate façade looks stunning from both the inside and outside. In the evening, head over to Chowki Dhani, an ethnic Rajasthani village resort, for dinner and a cultural show.

  2. Day 2: Amer Fort, Jal Mahal, and Nahargarh Fort
    35 minutes (13 km) from Hotel

    Start your day early at the Amer Fort, located on a hilltop and overlooking the Maota Lake. The architecture of the fort is a blend of Rajput and Mughal styles and the fort has several intricate palaces and halls inside it. Next, head over to the Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, which offers stunning views. In the afternoon, visit the Nahargarh Fort, which was built to defend the city and now offers panoramic views of the city. In the evening, head over to Panna Meena Ka Kund, an ancient stepwell that is a hidden gem of Jaipur.

  3. Day 3: Patrika Gate, Laxmi Misthan Bhandar, and Bapu Bazaar
    15 minutes (7 km) from Hotel

    In the morning, visit the Patrika Gate which has intricate murals that depict the culture and heritage of Rajasthan. Next, head over to Laxmi Misthan Bhandar for breakfast, a 70-year-old sweet shop that is famous for its Rajasthani sweets. In the afternoon, visit Bapu Bazaar, a vibrant market that sells everything from clothes to handicrafts. In the evening, head over to Birla Mandir, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi.

Jaipur has a lot of attractions, events, and experiences to offer. Some other places you can consider visiting are Jaigarh Fort, Albert Hall Museum, and Sisodia Rani Garden. You can also take a trip to the nearby town of Pushkar, which is famous for its Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake. To maximize your fun, try some of the local food, take a camel ride, and buy some souvenirs at the markets.
