2-Day Itinerary for Coimbatore in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Marudhamalai Temple
    30 minutes (11.6 km) from Coimbatore International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to the Marudhamalai Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan and is located on a hill which offers a panoramic view of the city. The temple has a serene environment which is perfect for morning prayer and meditation. Afterward, enjoy a traditional South Indian breakfast at one of the nearby restaurants. In the afternoon, visit the Gass Forest Museum which is located at a distance of 13 km from the temple. The museum showcases a rare collection of forestry-related artifacts and exhibits. Spend your evening at the Kari Motor Speedway which is located at a distance of 24 km from the museum. The speedway has go-karting and other adventure sports activities.

  2. Day 2: Anamalai Tiger Reserve
    1 hour 40 minutes (59.9 km) from Kari Motor Speedway

    Start your day early and drive to the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, which is situated at a distance of 59.9 km from Kari Motor Speedway. The reserve is home to several species of wildlife including tigers, elephants, and leopards. Take a guided nature walk to spot these beautiful creatures and admire the scenic beauty of the reserve. Afterward, drive to the nearby Valparai hill station and have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Spend your evening at the Black Thunder Water Theme Park which is located at a distance of 56 km from the hill station. This park has a variety of water rides and other attractions.
