Exploring Bijapur, Vijayapura, and Vijayanagara with Family

  1. Day 1: Gol Gumbaz
    Located in Bijapur, 10 minutes (2.3 km) from Bijapur Railway Station

    Morning: Visit the iconic Gol Gumbaz, a mausoleum of Sultan Mohammad Adil Shah. The main attraction of the monument is the whispering gallery, where even the slightest whisper is echoed multiple times.

    Afternoon: Head to the Ibrahim Rauza, a tomb and mosque complex built by Sultan Ibrahim Adil Shah II. The intricate carvings on the walls and the beautiful garden make it a serene place to visit.
