Recommendations

Other local attractions to consider include the Zanskar Valley, Tso Moriri Lake, and the Magnetic Hill. A side trip to the nearby state of Himachal Pradesh to visit the town of Manali and the Rohtang Pass is also recommended. To maximize your fun, try local food such as Rogan Josh and Kashmiri Kawa tea, and participate in activities such as river rafting and paragliding. I suggest hiring a local guide for a more immersive experience.
