Day 2: Exploring the Valley
2.5 hours (45 miles) from Kohima
Morning: Start early and drive to Viswema Village, the starting point of the trek. Stop at a local tea stall and grab a hot cup of tea on the way.
Afternoon: Reach Dzukou Valley and enjoy a picnic lunch by the river. Hike up to the top of the valley and witness the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley.
Evening: Spend the evening camping in the valley while enjoying a bonfire and gazing at the starry night sky.
Day 3: Trek back to Kohima
2.5 hours (45 miles) from Dzukou Valley
Morning: Wake up early to see the sun rise over the valley. Have breakfast and pack up your camping gear.
Afternoon: Trek back to Viswema Village and drive back to Kohima. Relax and have lunch at a local restaurant.

If you have extra time, you can visit the Japfu Peak, which is the second-highest peak in Nagaland. You can also head to Khonoma Village, the first green village of India, to experience Naga rural life.
