3-Day Itinerary for Spiti Valley in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kaza
    4 hours (200 km) from Manali

    In the morning, visit the key monastery, one of the oldest and biggest monasteries in Spiti valley. In the afternoon, explore the Kibber village, which is the highest village in the world. In the evening, take a walk around the Kaza market and enjoy some local delicacies.

  2. Day 2: Langza
    2 hours (25 km) from Kaza

    Start the day with a visit to the Hikkim village, the highest post office in the world. In the afternoon, head to Langza village, famous for its 1000-year-old Buddha statue and Fossil centre. In the evening, spend some time in the serene surroundings of Langza.

  3. Day 3: Chandratal Lake
    7 hours (120 km) from Langza

    Start early and drive to Chandratal Lake, which is known for its crystal clear water and breathtaking views. Spend the day near the lake, take a stroll, enjoy a picnic and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. In the evening, head back to your hotel in Manali.

If you have time, visit the Pin Valley National Park, Dhankar Monastery, and Tabo Monastery.
