    Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys from this popular tourist spot. Raja's Seat is a garden with a beautiful fountain, musical fountain and a toy train ride for children. The perfect place to start your day in Madikeri.

    30 minutes (8.2 km) from Raja's Seat

    A scenic waterfall located amidst coffee and spice plantations, Abbey Falls is a treat for the eyes. The falls are at their best during the monsoon season, but the lush greenery around the falls makes it a worthwhile visit any time of the year.

  3. 1:00PM: Omkareshwara Temple
    15 minutes (3.8 km) from Abbey Falls

    This ancient temple is a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts many devotees throughout the year. The peaceful atmosphere inside the temple complex makes it a great place to take a break and relax.

    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Omkareshwara Temple

    Built in the 17th century, this fort is a great example of ancient Indian architecture. The fort has a museum inside which displays artifacts and weapons used during the reign of the king. The fort also offers panoramic views of the city from the top.

    45 minutes (20.2 km) from Madikeri Fort

    Located on the banks of the river Cauvery, this camp offers visitors a chance to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Visitors can witness the majestic creatures being bathed, fed and even take an elephant ride. A great way to end your day in Madikeri.

If you are interested in trekking, make sure to visit Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary or Tadiandamol Peak. For those interested in history, head to the Gaddige Raja's Tomb or the Madikeri Museum. Coorg is also known for its coffee plantations, so make sure to take a plantation tour and experience the local coffee culture. Day trips to Bylakuppe, Talakaveri, and Iruppu Falls are also highly recommended.
