Recommendations

If you have an extra day, consider trekking to the Bering Nag temple from Sangla. You can also visit the Chansu village, the last village on the India-Tibet border, instead of Chitkul. For day trips, you can visit the nearby towns of Kalpa and Sarahan, or go for a thrilling river-rafting experience in the Baspa River. Make sure to try the local Kinnauri cuisine, especially the apple-based dishes, and shop for Kinnauri shawls and caps.
