5 Days in Sri Lanka Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Colombo
    30 minutes (19.5 km) from Bandaranaike International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Gangaramaya Temple, a beautiful Buddhist temple located in the heart of the city.   4. Day 4: Yala National Park

  5. Day 5: Galle
    3 hours (175 km) from Yala National Park

    In the morning, explore the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka's most popular tourist attractions. In the afternoon, visit the Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Museum Complex, which showcases the life and work of a famous Sri Lankan author. In the evening, relax at the Unawatuna Beach and enjoy the sunset.

If you have extra time, consider visiting Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress with stunning views. Day trips to Mirissa for whale watching or to Hikkaduwa for snorkeling and diving are also popular.
