Tirupati Family-Friendly 3-Day Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Sri Venkateswara Temple
    5 minutes (1.2 km) from the hotel

    In the morning, visit the Sri Venkateswara Temple, one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in India, with an average of 50,000 devotees visiting daily. Afternoon can be spent at the nearby Deer Park, a well-maintained park, where you can see a variety of animals and enjoy the natural beauty. In the evening, watch the sunset at the scenic Silathoranam, a natural rock formation located in the Tirumala hills.

  2. Day 2: Chandragiri Fort and Srikalahasti
    1 hour 20 minutes (40 km) from the hotel

    In the morning, head to the Chandragiri Fort and Palace, a 14th-century fort and palace that showcases the architecture and culture of that time. Afternoon can be spent at Srikalahasti, a temple town located on the banks of the Swarnamukhi River, famous for its Srikalahasti Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the evening, visit the Talakona Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh.

  3. Day 3: Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple and Akasaganga Teertham

    In the morning, visit the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, located in Tiruchanur and dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi, the consort of Lord Venkateswara. In the evening, visit the Sri Vari Museum, which showcases the history, culture, and religious significance of the Sri Venkateswara Temple.
