2-Day Nature Itinerary for Lonavala in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Rajmachi Point
    20 minutes (7.7 km) from Lonavala

    Rajmachi Point offers a stunning view of the Sahyadri mountains, especially during monsoon. In the morning, take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful scenery, misty surroundings, and the cool breeze. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Rajmachi Fort which is accessible by trekking. The fort has two forts - Shrivardhan and Manaranjan, and it's a good idea to hire a guide. In the evening, savor the local food at the nearby villages.

  2. Day 2: Bhushi Dam
    15 minutes (4.2 km) from Lonavala

    Bhushi Dam is a popular tourist attraction and a great spot for nature lovers. In the morning, explore the nearby Karla caves. The caves are Buddhist rock-cut monuments and are a great example of ancient Indian architecture. Afternoon is the perfect time to visit the Bhushi dam and enjoy the waterfalls and the scenic beauty around. In the evening, visit the Lonavala Lake, enjoy boating, and relax at one of the numerous cafes around.
