Start your day early with a trek to the Netravathipeak which is located in the Kudremukh National park. You will start at the Kudre Mukh forest check post and continue on a moderate trek. The trek takes you through the lush green forests, cascading waterfalls, and beautiful meadows. You will also be able to spot several species of birds and animals. On reaching the peak, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After spending some time at the peak, you will trek back down to the starting point.
Spend your second day exploring the Kudremukh National Park which is located in the Western Ghats. The park is home to several species of flora and fauna including the endangered lion-tailed macaque, sambar deer, and Malabar giant squirrel. Start your day with a visit to the Hebbe falls which is located near the park entrance. After spending some time at the falls, proceed to the park and embark on a nature walk. You will be able to spot several species of birds, butterflies and insects. After the nature walk, you can rest for a bit and have a picnic lunch before exploring the park some more. You can also opt for a jeep safari if you want to explore the park's interior.
If you have some extra time, you can consider visiting the nearby Hanuman Gundi falls or the Kalaseshwara temple.
