3-Day Itinerary for Jaipur in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Amer Fort
    23 minutes (7.5 km) from Jaipur City Center

    Head to Amer Fort early in the morning to avoid crowds. Explore the grand architecture, intricate carvings, and stunning views of Jaipur city. In the afternoon, take a short drive to Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Enjoy a boat ride or a quick snack with beautiful views of the palace. In the evening, head to Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village showcasing the Rajasthani way of life. Enjoy traditional Rajasthani food and cultural performances.

  2. Day 2: City Palace and Jantar Mantar
    10 minutes (3.3 km) from Amer Fort

    Start your day with a visit to the grand City Palace, the residence of the Jaipur Royal Family. Explore the various museums, galleries, and palaces within. In the afternoon, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the 18th century. Learn about the various instruments used to study the stars and planets. In the evening, head to Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, to watch the sunset and take in the stunning views of Jaipur city.

  3. Day 3: Jaipur Markets
    15 minutes (5.6 km) from Jantar Mantar

    Start your day early and head to Bapu Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Jaipur, to shop for textiles, handicrafts, and jewelry. In the afternoon, head to Johari Bazaar, known for its traditional jewelry and gemstones. Don't forget to bargain! In the evening, head to the vibrant and colorful markets of Chaura Rasta and Nehru Bazaar for souvenirs and trinkets to take back home.
