Relaxing 2-Day Itinerary for Coorg and Chikmagalur in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Coorg
    3 hours and 45 minutes (139 km) from Bangalore

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Namdroling Monastery, also known as the Golden Temple. Marvel at the intricate Tibetan architecture and the 60-feet-tall golden statue of Buddha.

  2. Day 2: Chikmagalur
    3 hours and 30 minutes (170 km) from Coorg

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. The trek to the top takes about 2 hours and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

    Afternoon: Head to the Baba Budangiri Hills to see the famous Manikyadhara Falls. The waterfall is believed to have healing powers and is surrounded by lush greenery.

    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Coffee Museum to learn about the history and culture of coffee in India. You can also sample some of the finest coffee in the region.
