Visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, also called Saint Joseph's Church, built-in 1949, a beautiful and magnificent architectural landmark.
Stop at the authentic French restaurant Les Enfants Sages, which serves delicious seasonal dishes with a rustic atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely lunch.
Visit the Volcano, a modern building that now is the theater and the art center of the city, where you can catch a show, concert or exhibition.
The beach promenade of Le Havre is a relaxing spot to take a stroll, breathe in the ocean air, and watch the sunset with a splendid view of the seashore.
You can explore the city on foot or take a taxi, Le Havre's taxis are available throughout the town and are metered for the distance travelled, an average taxi trip will cost between €10-30. Also, the public transportation system of the city is excellent, tramways and buses which are rather inexpensive, costing around €1.5 per trip.
If you have more time, you can visit the Maison de L'Armateur, an 18th-century shipowner's house with excellent views of the city. You can end your day at one of the many seafood restaurants near the beach, for the freshest and delectable seafood cuisine.
If you have less time, consider skipping Volcano or the Beach Promenade, so you will have more time to spend on some of the other attractions to experience.
