In the morning, visit Talakaveri, which is the birthplace of the Cauvery river. The view from the Brahmagiri hill is breathtaking. After lunch, visit the Bhagamandala temple, which is around 8 km from Talakaveri. The temple is known for its unique Kerala style architecture. In the evening, head back to Madikeri to enjoy a walk around Raja's Seat. From Raja's Seat, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view over the Western Ghats.

In the evening, head back to Madikeri to visit the Madikeri Fort, which is situated in the heart of the town.
You can also consider visiting Chiklihole Dam, Harangi Dam, Nisargadhama, and the Namdroling Monastery. If you have an extra day, you can plan a day trip to Nagarhole National Park or the Iruppu Falls.
