Adventure-Filled Day at Kalavantin Durg in July 2023

    Begin your adventurous day at the base of Kalavantin Durg. This trek is not for the faint-hearted as it takes around 3 hours to reach the peak. The initial trek path is through dense forests which then transform into rock-cut steps. Once you are at the top, the view of the Western Ghats is breathtaking.

  2. 10:00AM: Karnala Bird Sanctuary
    40 minutes (22.5 km) from Kalavantin Durg

    If you are a bird enthusiast, then Karnala Bird Sanctuary is a must-visit. The sanctuary is home to over 150 species of birds. The trek to the Karnala Fort inside the sanctuary is an easy one and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding forest and mountains.

  3. 1:00PM: Lunch at Shree Datta Snacks
    30 minutes (16 km) from Karnala Bird Sanctuary
