3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (12.6km) from Dabolim Airport

    Start your day off with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Basilica of Bom Jesus. This 400-year-old church houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the morning, take a guided tour of the church and learn about the history and significance of the site. Afterward, head to St. Augustine Tower, which is just a 10-minute walk away. This 46-meter tall tower is all that remains of the Church of St. Augustine, built in 1602. End your day with a stroll through the Latin Quarter in Panaji. The narrow streets are lined with brightly colored houses, art galleries, and quaint cafes.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (62.4km) from Panaji

    Start your day early with a drive to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. The falls are located inside the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and are surrounded by lush greenery. Spend the morning swimming in the natural pool at the base of the falls or take a guided trek in the surrounding area. Afterward, head to the spice plantations where you can learn about the cultivation of various spices and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. End your day with a visit to the Sahakari Spice Farm, which is known for its variety of spices including cardamom, vanilla, and nutmeg.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Beach
    40 minutes (18.1km) from Sahakari Spice Farm

    Relax on the sandy shores of Anjuna Beach, known for its vibrant flea market and water sports activities. Start your day with a yoga session on the beach followed by a swim in the Arabian Sea. Afterward, explore the local market where you can find traditional handicrafts, clothing, and jewelry. Enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the many beach shacks and spend the afternoon trying out water sports such as jet skiing and parasailing. End your day with a visit to Chapora Fort, which is located just a short drive away. This 16th-century fort offers stunning views of the coastline.
