2-Day Itinerary in Kerla in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Kochi
    1 hour 5 minutes (12.7 miles) from Cochin International Airport

    In the morning, explore Fort Kochi's rich history and culture by visiting the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and St. Francis Church. Have lunch at Dal Roti and enjoy delicious Indian cuisine. Spend the afternoon at the Chinese fishing nets and take a boat tour of the backwaters. In the evening, attend a Kathakali dance performance at the Kerala Kathakali Centre.

  2. Day 2: Munnar
    3 hours 40 minutes (87.8 miles) from Fort Kochi

    On day two, head to Munnar and visit the Mattupetty Dam for a scenic view of the lake and mountains. Take a tour of the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the tea-making process and have lunch at Rapsy Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
