2-Day Itinerary for Allapuzha and Marari in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Allapuzha Beach
    10-minute drive from Alleppey Station

    Start your day with a morning stroll on the Allapuzha Beach, also known as the Venice of the East. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and the fresh breeze of the Arabian Sea. Take a dip in the sea or rent a bike to explore the neighboring villages. For lunch, try the seafood at the beach shacks or head to the nearby restaurants. In the afternoon, take a backwater cruise and witness the unique ecosystem of the backwaters. In the evening, watch the mesmerizing sunset and enjoy the cultural performances at the beach.

  2. Day 2: Marari Beach
    20-minute drive from Allapuzha Beach

    Visit the Marari Beach, a serene and secluded beach dotted with coconut trees. Take a dip in the sea or relax on the beach chairs. Try the local cuisine at the beachside restaurants or head to the nearby resorts. In the afternoon, visit the Marari Craft Foundation and witness the traditional craftsmanship of the local artisans.
