Get on an adrenaline high by skydiving over Bentota Beach. Don’t forget to capture the panoramic view from above. Take a break from adventurous activities and enjoy a sunbath, or taste some freshly caught seafood.
Visit Yala National Park and catch a glimpse of Sri Lanka's wildlife. Hop on a jeep safari and spot animals such as leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. Finish the day by witnessing a stunning sunset at the National Park.
Visit Ella, a picturesque mountain town surrounded by lush green tea plantations. Enjoy a relaxed train ride from Yala National Park to Ella and savour the picturesque views of the countryside. Visit Ravana Falls and take a dip in the refreshing water.
Explore the Sacred City of Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit The Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist temple located in the Royal Palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy. Attend a traditional Kandyan dance performance in the evening.
Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient rock fortress towering 200 metres above the surrounding plains. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site showcasing Sri Lankan rock art and frescoes. End the day with a light vegan meal at a nearby restaurant.
Internal travel can be done by train or bus. Trains are cheaper, and depending on the location, they offer breathtaking nature views making the travel journey worthwhile. However, they can often get crowded. Tuk-tuks (a three-wheeled vehicle) frequent tourist locations, and taxi services are also available at hotels.

If you have more time, head to Galle, a coastal town known for its Dutch architecture and picturesque streets. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is also a worthwhile visit, and during the elephant feeding times, visitors get the rare opportunity to interact with the elephants.
If you have less time, skip the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Dambulla Cave Temple visit, but don't miss Yala National Park Jeep Safari and witness Sri Lanka's wildlife firsthand.
