Bachelor Party: 5-day Itinerary for Kedarnath Bhadrinadh in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath
    6 hours (212 km) from Haridwar

    In the morning, we will trek to Kedarnath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites. We will explore the temple and its surroundings, including the Bhairav ​​Temple and Gandhi Sarovar Lake. After lunch, we will head to Vasuki Tal, an emerald lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains, where we can camp and enjoy bonfire and barbeque. In the evening, we will head back to the Kedarnath Temple, which offers a stunning view of the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Gaurikund
    40 minutes (16 km) from Kedarnath

    In the morning, we will relax and enjoy the beauty of Kedarnath. After lunch, we will drive to Gaurikund, where we can take a dip in the hot water springs and explore the ancient Gauri Devi Temple. In the evening, we will check into a hotel at Gaurikund and enjoy a music and dance party.

  3. Day 3: Badrinath

    In the morning, we will drive to Badrinath, the holiest of the Char Dham shrines. We will visit the Badrinath Temple and Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring. After lunch, we will explore Mana Village, the last village of India on the Indo-Tibetan border. In the evening, we will return to the hotel and enjoy a bonfire and dinner.

  4. Day 4: Joshimath
    1 hour 30 minutes (49 km) from Badrinath

    In the morning, we will drive to Joshimath, the winter seat of Lord Badri. We will visit the Narsingh Temple and Kalpavriksha, the oldest tree in India, which is over 1200 years old. After lunch, we will enjoy a cable car ride from Joshimath to Auli, which offers a stunning view of the Himalayas. We will spend the evening at Auli, enjoying skiing, trekking and other adventure activities.

  5. Day 5: Rishikesh
    10 hours (256 km) from Joshimath

    In the morning, we will drive to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World. We will visit Parmarth Niketan, a renowned ashram, and take part in a Ganga Aarti ceremony. After lunch, we can enjoy bungee jumping, white water rafting, or kayaking in the Ganges River. In the evening, we will explore the local markets and cafes in Rishikesh and have a farewell dinner.

You can consider a day trip to Hemkund Sahib, a Sikh shrine situated at an altitude of 4,600 meters. You can also visit Valley of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich flora and fauna.
