Kedarnath Badrinath 7-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary - November 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

  3. Day 3: Sonprayag and Triyuginarayan Temple

    Visit Sonprayag, the confluence of two holy rivers, and take a dip in the waters. Then, head to Triyuginarayan Temple, the site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati's wedding. Spend the evening strolling the streets of Guptkashi.

  4. Day 4: Mana Village and Vasudhara Falls

    Travel to Mana village, the last village on the Indo-China border. Visit Vyas Gufa, the cave where Sage Vyas composed the Hindu epic Mahabharata. Then, hike to Vasudhara Falls, a majestic waterfall believed to wash away sins. Spend the evening in the charming town of Badrinath.

  5. Day 5: Badrinath Temple and Tapt Kund

    Visit Badrinath Temple, a 9th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Take a dip in the hot Tapt Kund, believed to have medicinal properties. Spend the evening exploring the colorful markets of Badrinath.

  6. Day 6: Valley of Flowers National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (42 miles) from Badrinath Temple

    Travel to the Valley of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its vibrant meadows of alpine flowers and diverse wildlife. Trek through the park and take in the breathtaking views. Return to Badrinath for the evening.

  7. Day 7: Joshimath and Narsingh Temple
    1 hour (25 miles) from Badrinath Temple

    Visit Joshimath, a scenic town with ancient temples and stunning views of the Himalayas. Visit Narsingh Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his half-man, half-lion avatar. Return to Badrinath for the evening.
