3-Day Itinerary for Delhi in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Jama Masjid
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Indira Gandhi International Airport

    In the morning, visit the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid. Built in 1656, it can accommodate up to 25,000 worshippers.   2. Day 2: Qutub Minar

    Start the day by visiting the Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's a towering 73 metres high. The adjacent Iron Pillar is a marvel of ancient metallurgy. In the afternoon, explore the Lotus Temple, a Bahai house of worship with stunning architecture. In the evening, head to the Hauz Khas Village, which offers a variety of trendy cafes, bars and art galleries.

  3. Day 3: India Gate
    30 minutes (10 km) from Lotus Temple

    Start the day by visiting India Gate, a war memorial that is a popular picnic spot. Nearby is the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. In the afternoon, explore Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site that's often compared to the Taj Mahal. In the evening, watch a Bollywood movie at the PVR cinema in Select Citywalk mall.
