A 3-Day Itinerary for Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    25 minutes (8.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your first day in Goa by hitting the beach! Baga Beach is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy some water sports. In the morning, you can try your hand at jet skiing or parasailing, then grab a quick lunch at one of the many beach shacks. In the afternoon, take a stroll through the nearby markets to pick up some souvenirs, and then head back to the beach to watch the sunset with a cold drink in hand. For dinner, try one of the many seafood restaurants in the area, and then hit up the local bars for some live music and dancing.

  2. Day 2: Fort Aguada
    15 minutes (5.3 km) from Baga Beach

    Start your morning by visiting Fort Aguada, a historic Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Learn about the fort's history and explore its various sections, including the lighthouse and prison cells. Afterward, head to nearby Sinquerim Beach for a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing and swimming. For dinner, head to one of the many restaurants in the area that specialize in traditional Goan cuisine, such as fish curry and vindaloo. In the evening, take a walk along the beach and enjoy the cool sea breeze.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (80 km) from Fort Aguada

    On your last day in Goa, take a day trip to the stunning Dudhsagar Falls. This four-tiered waterfall cascades down from a height of 310 meters and is surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. Spend the day exploring the area, taking a dip in the natural pools or going on a trek in the nearby forests. On your way back, stop by the spice plantations in the area to learn about the different spices grown in Goa. For dinner, try one of the many rooftop restaurants in Panaji for a stunning view of the city.
