Sami Abdulrahman Park is the largest park in Erbil, known for its wide greenery, great view of the city, and its beautiful lake. The park offers many adventure activities such as bungee jumping, zip-lining and wall climbing to get your adrenaline flowing.
Qaysari Bazaar is the oldest and most beautiful bazaar in Erbil. It offers a unique shopping experience where you can buy traditional Kurdish souvenirs, clothes, and spices, and enjoy authentic Kurdish food. Adventurous shoppers will enjoy wandering through the maze-like passages and interacting with the friendly locals.
Travelers can use taxis or rental cars to reach the destinations mentioned above. Taxis are relatively cheap and available all over the city. Consider traffic when estimating travel time from place to place, especially during rush hour.
If you have extra time, you can visit the historic Erbil Citadel or the Shanidar Park, where you can see the famous Shanidar cave, or hike in the beautiful Dukan Lake, where you can enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. If you have less time, you can skip Qaysari Bazaar, but it's definitely an experience that shouldn't be missed.
