In the morning, we will start our day early to beat the crowds and heat and drive to Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. It is a beautiful trek through lush green forests, and the view from the top is breathtaking. After the trek, we will have a picnic lunch amidst nature. In the afternoon, we will visit the Hebbe Falls, which is a two-stage waterfall surrounded by dense forests. We can take a bath in the cold water and relax. In the evening, we will head back to the hotel for dinner and a good night's rest.
Early in the morning, we will drive to the Kudremukh National Park, known for its biodiversity and scenic beauty. We will go on a trek along the Kalasa-Kudremukh road and spot some wild animals like elephants, tigers, and leopards. After the trek, we will have lunch in one of the local restaurants and try some authentic local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will visit the Coffee Museum, where we can learn about the history and culture of coffee in Chikmagalur. In the evening, we will head back to the hotel for dinner and rest.
You can also visit the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, the Baba Budangiri Hills, and the Manikyadhara Falls. If you have more time, you can take a day trip to the Belur and Halebidu temples, which are famous for their intricate carvings and architecture.
