3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Wayanad, Munnar in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Chembra Peak
    1 hour 20 minutes (38.1 miles) from Wayanad

    Morning: Start the day early to trek the Chembra peak, the highest peak of Wayanad, at an elevation of 6,900 ft. The trek will take around 3 hours to reach the top, which will offer a breathtaking view of the valley and heart-shaped lake.
    Afternoon: Head to Kuruva Island, a serene and uninhabited island on the Kabini River, surrounded by dense forests, to have a memorable picnic lunch and enjoy river rafting.
    Evening: Visit the Pookode Lake, where you can take a boating tour to appreciate the lush greenery and natural beauty of the place.

  2. Day 2: Meenmutty Falls
    1 hour 50 minutes (43.7 miles) from Chembra Peak

    Morning: Drive to Meenmutty Falls, a three-tiered waterfall with a height of 300 ft, surrounded by lush green forests. Trek for around an hour and a half to reach the falls and enjoy the refreshing water and picturesque surroundings.
    Afternoon: Visit the Edakkal Caves, an archaeological site with ancient rock art dating back to the Neolithic era, and explore the fascinating rock formations and inscriptions.
    Evening: Head to the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary to witness the diverse flora and fauna, including elephants, tigers, and leopards on a jeep safari.

  3. Day 3: Echo Point
