In the morning, ride your motorcycle to Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh. Marvel at the stunning 12-story Maitreya Buddha statue as well as the intricate paintings and architecture. For lunch, try some delicious momos and thukpa at the on-site restaurant. In the afternoon, ride to Shey Palace, located just a few minutes away. Explore the ancient ruins and the picturesque surroundings. In the evening, head back to Leh and enjoy a hearty dinner of traditional Ladakhi food.
Today, embark on a scenic ride to the famous Pangong Tso Lake. The ride is long but worth it for the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Stop at the various viewpoints along the way to capture stunning photos. Once you arrive, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy a picnic lunch on the shore. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery. In the evening, ride back to Leh and stop at a roadside dhaba for some tasty dinner.
On your final day, take on the challenge of riding to Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The ride is steep and winding, but the views are absolutely worth it. Once you reach the top, take some photos by the sign that marks the elevation and spend some time taking in the panoramic views of the Himalayas. For lunch, stop at one of the many tea stalls along the way and savor some hot tea and maggi noodles. In the afternoon, ride back to Leh and spend some time exploring the local markets for souvenirs. In the evening, celebrate your final night in Ladakh with a delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants.
