Please note that the temple opens at 5:00AM and closes at 3:00PM.
Embark on a scenic trek to Vasuki Tal, a high-altitude lake surrounded by magnificent Himalayan peaks. The trek is steep and challenging but the views along the way are absolutely worth it. You can pack a lunch and have a picnic by the lake before heading back down. Please note that the trek is only accessible from May to October.
Take a Jeep safari through the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for musk deer, bharal, snow leopard, and many other species that call this sanctuary home. The sanctuary is open from April to November.
End your day with a visit to the Shankaracharya Samadhi, a memorial dedicated to the famous philosopher and theologian Adi Shankaracharya. The samadhi is located in the town of Kedarnath and is a peaceful and serene spot to reflect on the day's adventures.
