2-Day Adventure Itinerary from Bangalore to Coorg

  1. Day 1: Dubare Elephant Camp
    4 hours (164 km) from Bangalore

    Start your adventure by visiting the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can learn about and interact with elephants. In the morning, watch the elephants being bathed and fed. In the afternoon, go on an elephant ride through the forest, where you can see the elephants in their natural habitat. In the evening, enjoy a coracle ride on the river, where you can spot crocodiles and various birds.

  2. Day 2: Tadiandamol Peak
    2 hours 30 minutes (75 km) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    Start your day early with a trek to Tadiandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg. The trek is moderate and takes around 4-5 hours, but the views from the top are worth it. Take in the panoramic view of the Western Ghats at the summit. After the trek, visit the Chelavara Falls, where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. End your day with a visit to the Namdroling Monastery, home to over 5,000 monks and a beautiful example of Tibetan architecture.

Recommendations

If you have time, visit the Nagarhole National Park, which is known for its tigers and other wildlife. You can also go river rafting at Barapole River. For a day trip, visit the beautiful town of Madikeri, which is known for its stunning views, coffee plantations, and historic sites.
