Start your first day in Bermuda with some underwater exploration at Church Bay Beach where colorful fish and other marine life are abundant. Bring your own snorkeling gear, or rent from one of the nearby vendors. After snorkeling, relax on the pink sands and soak in the views of vibrant blue waters while enjoying a refreshing drink from the nearby concession stand.
On day two, visit two of the most popular and picturesque beaches in Bermuda. Start at Elbow Beach, which is quieter and less crowded than other beaches, and features crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming. Enjoy a tasty lunch at the beachfront restaurant before heading to Horseshoe Bay Beach, with its pink sands and turquoise waters. Take a leisurely walk along the beach and dip your toes in the water.
On your final day, indulge in a delicious meal at Marcus', one of Bermuda's finest restaurants. Located inside the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Marcus' offers contemporary cuisine inspired by Bermuda's rich cultural heritage. Try the popular fish chowder, and the visually stunning chocolate dessert. Relax and savor your meal in the elegant, yet comfortable dining room.
Getting around Bermuda is easy with several transportation options available. Taxis are readily available throughout the island, and prices are regulated. Alternatively, rent a moped or a bicycle and enjoy exploring the island on your own. Expect to pay $20-40 for a taxi ride from the airport to your hotel, around $60 for a daily moped rental, or $25 for a daily bicycle rental. Keep in mind that Bermuda drives on the left side of the road.
If you have more time, venture to St. George's, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore Bermuda's rich history or take a glass-bottom boat tour for more underwater adventures. If you have less time, skip Elbow Beach, which is further from Hamilton, and spend more time exploring Horseshoe Bay Beach, which is closer while still a must-visit in Bermuda.
Bermuda's only airport is L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA), located in St. George's, about 20 minutes from Hamilton. Airlines that fly into Bermuda include American Airlines, Delta, Air Canada, and JetBlue, among others.
