Just a few minutes away, the Dingli Cliffs offer breathtaking panoramic views of the countryside and sea. Mdina, also known as the Silent City, is an ancient fortified town that served as the capital of Malta during the medieval times. It is also a filming location for various movies and TV shows like Game of Thrones. Visit the Cathedral of Saint Paul and narrow streets of the city. Just outside the walls, Rabat offers historic attractions like the catacombs, Roman Villa, and the Wignacourt Museum.
Malta is a small island nation, and public transport is limited. Hiring a car is more convenient if you want to explore the island. However, be aware that Maltese drivers drive on the left side of the road. Taxis are also available, but make sure to agree on a price before getting in. For short distances, walking is the best option.

Malta International Airport (MLA) is located 8 kilometers southeast of Valletta, the capital city. It is the only airport in Malta, and has various direct flights to and from major European cities like London, Paris, Madrid, and Berlin, as well as regional destinations like Tunis, Tel Aviv, and Istanbul.
