4-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Enjoy a peaceful sunrise at Baga Beach. In the morning, you can take a dip in the sea or stroll down the shore collecting shells. For lunch, try some lip-smacking seafood at the nearby shacks. In the afternoon, take a tour of the ancient Fort Aguada, which offers a stunning view of the Arabian sea. Finally, end your day with some live music, drinks and dinner at the famous Tito's Lane.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    20 minutes (5 miles) from Baga Beach

    Start your day with a visit to Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the remains of Saint Francis Xavier. Then, head to the nearby Goa State Museum, displaying artefacts and objects that depict the Goan culture and history. In the evening, visit the Panjim Market, a vibrant bazaar selling everything from local spices to souvenirs.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours 30 minutes (48 miles) from Panjim Market

    Embark on a scenic drive to the Dudhsagar waterfalls, located on the Goa - Karnataka border. After a bumpy jeep ride, you'll reach the falls, which offer a mesmerising view. You can take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the bottom of the falls. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

  4. Day 4: Spice Plantation and Anjuna Beach
    1 hour 30 minutes (23 miles) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Visit a spice plantation in the morning, where you can learn about the various spices and how they are grown. Enjoy a traditional lunch at the plantation. In the afternoon, head to Anjuna Beach to laze around, swim or indulge in some watersports. You can also visit the nearby flea market, which sells everything from handicrafts to clothes.

Be sure to visit the Saturday Night Market in Arpora, which is a shopper's paradise and offers a wide range of food and live music. If you have time, take a day trip to the quaint village of Divar, located on the Mandovi river.
