30 minutes (18 km) from Fontainhas

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Infantaria Cafe in Calangute. Then, head to Baga Beach for a day of sun, sand and sea. Rent a beach umbrella and chairs, indulge in water sports or simply relax and soak in the sun. For lunch, try the seafood at Britto's. In the evening, take a stroll along the Baga Beach Road for shopping and nightlife. End your day with dinner and live music at Tito's.

Take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls or hike to the top for panoramic views. On your way back, stop by the Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century Shiva temple hidden in the jungle. Enjoy a late lunch at the nearby Dudhsagar Spa Resort before heading back to the city.
