  1. Day 1: Vaishno Devi Shrine

    10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Morning Darshan at Vaishno Devi Shrine

    The Vaishno Devi Shrine, located in the Trikuta Mountains, is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India. The morning Darshan includes a spiritual trek to the shrine, and you can seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. The trek is an uphill climb of around 12 km, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. You can hire a pony or palanquin to reach the shrine comfortably. Witness the panoramic view of the valleys below from the Bhairavnath Temple.

    2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Bhairavnath Temple Visit

    After a morning Darshan, visit the Bhairavnath Temple, located at an altitude of 6610 ft. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bhairav, who is believed to protect the Vaishno Devi Shrine. The temple provides a bird's eye view of the entire valley below. The trek to the temple is approximately 2.5 km from the shrine.

    6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Relaxation and Local Exploration

    After a busy day of trekking and temple visits, relax and unwind in the natural beauty of the Trikuta Mountains. You can explore the local market, buy souvenirs, or enjoy local cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Patnitop and Sanasar
    Starting Point: Katra
    Duration: Approximately 3 hours (77.5 km) from Katra to Patnitop
    8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Visit Patnitop

    Located at an altitude of 2024 m, Patnitop is a scenic hill station known for its breathtaking views, dense pine forests, and adventure sports. You can visit the Nag Temple, Sanasar Lake, and Madhatop. You can also enjoy adventure activities like paragliding and skiing.

    Distance from Patnitop to Sanasar: 19.6 km (40 mins by car)
    12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Visit Sanasar

    Located at a distance of 19.6 km from Patnitop, Sanasar is a beautiful meadow surrounded by coniferous trees. You can enjoy adventure activities like paragliding and trekking. You can also visit the Nathatop viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the snow-capped Pir Panjal ranges.

    Distance from Sanasar to Katra: 123.2 km (3 hours by car)
    6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Return to Katra and Departure
