Today we will trek in the beautiful Bandaje Hills. It's a moderate level trek with a total distance of 12 km (7.4 miles) and takes around 5-6 hours to complete. We will start early in the morning to avoid the heat and to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the top of the hill.
Bandaje Waterfalls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Bandaje Hills. The waterfall has a height of 200 feet and is surrounded by lush greenery. We will take a break here to enjoy the view and take some pictures.
Bandaje Arbi Falls is another beautiful waterfall located in the Bandaje Hills. The waterfall has a height of 170 feet and is surrounded by dense forests. We will take a break here to enjoy the view and have some snacks.
Bandaje Tea Estate is a beautiful tea plantation located in the foothills of Bandaje Hills. We will take a tour of the tea estate and learn about the various processes involved in tea making. We will also taste some freshly brewed tea and buy some tea leaves to take back as souvenirs.
We will have lunch at Hotel Mayura Valley View which is located near the Kukke Subramanya Temple. The hotel serves delicious vegetarian food and has a beautiful view of the valley.
Kukke Subramanya Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Subramanya. The temple is located in a beautiful valley and is surrounded by mountains. We will take a tour of the temple and learn about its history and significance.
We will return to the hotel after a long day of trekking and sightseeing. Relax and enjoy the evening at the hotel.
If time permits, you can also visit the Adi Subrahmanya Temple and the Kumar Parvatha Trek which are located nearby. We recommend carrying enough water, snacks and sunscreen for the trek. It's also advisable to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
