3-Day Itinerary for Goa in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (11.5 kilometers) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, explore the Fort Aguada, which is one of the most popular tourist spots in Goa. The fort is located on Sinquerim beach, and it was built in the 17th century as a defense against Dutch and Marathas. Take a stroll around the fort and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, you can visit the nearby Aguada Lighthouse and climb to the top for an even better view. In the evening, head to The Fisherman’s Wharf, which is just a short drive away, and savor the delicious seafood.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. The church is known for preserving the remains of St. Francis Xavier, a revered Catholic missionary. In the afternoon, head to the vibrant Anjuna Beach, which is known for its flea market.   3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 40 minutes (65 kilometers) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    On your last day, take a day trip to the stunning Dudhsagar Falls, which is one of the highest waterfalls in India. The waterfall is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, and you can reach it by jeep or trekking. Spend the day enjoying the breathtaking views of the waterfall, swimming in the freshwater pools, and exploring the surrounding forests and wildlife. In the evening, head back to Goa and try the traditional Goan prawn curry at Vinayak Family Restaurant.
