5-Day Itinerary for Goa in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    30 minutes (10.6 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, relax on the beach, take a dip in the Arabian sea, try out some water sports or simply soak up the sun. Head to Britto's for lunch, they are famous for authentic Goan seafood. In the evening, enjoy live music, dance and drinks at the Tito's club.

  2. Day 2: Aguada Fort
    20 minutes (8.7 km) from Baga Beach

    Aguada Fort, built-in 1612, is one of the most well-preserved forts in India. Enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian sea from the fort. Afternoon, visit the Mae De Deus Church and nearby flea market. In the evening, relax at the Sinquerim beach or take a boat ride to see the sunset.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (60 km) from Aguada Fort

    Visit the majestic Dudhsagar waterfalls, which means "sea of milk," due to the stunning white spray of the waterfalls cascading down the mountainside. You can take a guided trek to reach the base of the falls. It's an unforgettable experience. Spend the evening near the Arvalem Caves.

  4. Day 4: Arambol Beach
    1 hour 15 minutes (36 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Arambol beach offers a perfect mix of serene beauty and vibrant nightlife. In the morning, take a dip in the sea, try out some yoga on the beach or indulge in some seafood. Afternoon, visit the nearby Arambol Sweet Water Lake or take a dip in the freshwater. Enjoy the sunset and music at the hilltop shacks in the evening.

  5. Day 5: Dona Paula and Miramar Beach
    1 hour (30 km) from Arambol Beach

    Visit the Dona Paula viewpoint and enjoy the stunning view of the beach. Head to the Miramar beach, enjoy some fresh air and take a walk on the soft sand. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the evening, enjoy some seafood and drinks at the beach shacks.

Recommendations

Don't miss the spice plantations tour, visit the Anjuna flea market for some souvenirs and trinkets. You can take a day trip to the secluded Butterfly beach or Grand Island for some snorkeling and diving. Make sure to try out some local dishes like Vindaloo, Xacuti, and Sorpotel.
