Grand Socco Square is a wonderful place to experience Tangier's local culture, it's always busy with locals and tourists alike. Here, you will find vendors selling traditional wares and street performers showcasing their talents. The architecture of the surrounding area gives you a glimpse of the history of the city in the form of the old buildings that still stand today.
Dar Nour Restaurant, located in the heart of the old medina is one of the best restaurants to have lunch in Tangier. They serve authentic, traditional Moroccan dishes that are both delicious and reasonably priced, definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

Not many people know the significant role that Tangier played in the early stages of the American nation, and this museum is the perfect place to learn about it.
Located at the northwesternmost point of Africa, Cap Spartel provides a breathtaking view of the where the Atlantic and Mediterranean sea meet. The area surrounding the cape is a protected national park, where one can go hiking and observe different species of flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
Most of the destinations are within a reasonable walking distance from each other, hence we highly recommend exploring the city by foot. Other alternatives include taxis, rented cars or bikes. We suggest keeping some local currency or a credit card handy while traveling, the approximate travel cost ranges from MAD 20-60.
If you have more time, then we recommend adding a visit to the beautiful Hercules Caves or the Medina of Tangier. But if you have less time, we suggest skipping Cap Spartel and enjoying Tangier's old town instead.
