3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Haridwar in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Har Ki Pauri
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Haridwar Junction Railway Station

    Har Ki Pauri is one of the most popular and holy places in Haridwar. The Ganga Arti in the evening is a spectacular sight and a must-see attraction. In the morning, take a dip in the holy Ganges River to start your day with blessings. Afternoon and evening can be spent exploring local markets and enjoying delicious street food.

  2. Day 2: Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple
    30 minutes (7 km) from Har Ki Pauri

    Start your day early with a visit to Mansa Devi Temple which is accessible by a cable car ride. The views from the top are mesmerizing. Afternoon can be spent at Chandi Devi Temple, which is accessible by a ropeway. This temple is located on Neel Parvat and gives beautiful views of Haridwar. In the evening, you can visit Har Ki Pauri again to witness the Ganga Arti.

  3. Day 3: Rajaji National Park
    1 hour 20 minutes ( 68.2 km) from Har Ki Pauri

    Take a day trip to Rajaji National Park to experience wildlife and nature. The park is situated at the foothills of the Shivalik range and is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, and many other animals. You can opt for a Jeep Safari, Bird Watching Tour, or a Nature Walk. You may also pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it amidst nature. Return to Haridwar in the evening.
