  1. Day 1: Dalhousie

  2. Day 2: Khajjiar
    1 hour 20 minutes (20.7 miles) from Dalhousie

    Morning: Visit the Khajji Nag Temple, an ancient temple surrounded by beautiful cedar trees. Afternoon: Head to the Khajjiar Lake, also known as the 'Mini Switzerland of India' and enjoy paddle boating. Evening: Take a nature walk in the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary to enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna.

  3. Day 3: Dharamshala
    2 hours 10 minutes (68.2 miles) from Khajjiar

    Morning: Visit the Namgyal Monastery, the largest Tibetan temple outside of Tibet. Afternoon: Head to the Kangra Fort, a historic fort built by the Royal Rajput Family of Kangra. Evening: Visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex, the official residence of the Dalai Lama and a must-visit attraction in Dharamshala.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider a day trip to McLeod Ganj, a beautiful hill station known for its Tibetan culture and beautiful monasteries. You can also enjoy paragliding in Bir Billing or go on a trek to Triund. Make sure to try the local street food and shop for souvenirs in the local markets.
